“OXY”

INTRO:

It is hard to describe just what it is that I feel at this very moment. As I see it you may as well ask a man who has just died and stepped past the Pearly Gates how he feels. No mere words can ever truly describe just how powerful, how joyous, how truly fucking awesome I feel at this exact moment in time. It is as if I am an angel riding upon a golden cloud, overlooking the glory of my father the Lord’s creations.

Yet despite this momentary moment of true and utter bliss, I know that it will not be long lived. Soon this wonderful feeling will fade away, slip from my hands as so many dreams have before. All of this joy will subside, all of the power that I feel right now will turn to weakness, to shame. Soon I will no longer be an angel traveling upon a golden cloud, no I will be a demon wading in a pit of bile and excrement. No matter how good I feel, no matter how much I desire, I know my bliss will only last for a moment, yet my pain will last forever. The whole damn thing kind of ironic really.

Fuck it right, that isn’t for another hour or so, I have an hour of bliss, an hour at heavens gates. I am willing to trade this hour for the pain to come. A single moment of purity is worth a life time of pain and anguish. All of the lies, all of the sins I have committed matter not. Life is only lived moment to moment everything else is an illusion. I don’t need anyone, I don’t need sex, I don’t need love, I don’t need friends, all I need is my little green pill, my Oxy eighty, my salvation.

I hold the hollow body of a Bic pen between my chapped and burned lips. I take my piece of aluminum foil that I have made my many different folds in, for the perfect burn path. My foil is just eight inches long by maybe three inches wide, perfect crease in the middle. It is in this crease, or what I like to call the valley that I place my green salvation. I hold the lighter to the foil just under my pill towards the top of the foil. As my pill begins to burn and slide down the foil the beautiful gray smoke begins to rise.

I quickly begin to inhale each and every molecule of this smoke as the pill slides down the valley. As the nasty chemical smell hits the air I lean back for a moment as the Oxy begins to take a hold of me. The drugs effect comes on strong. I first feel a warm sensation in my head. Next my mind goes numb, this same sensation travels all the way down my body into my toes. My heart beat begins to slow way down, my body is having an internal orgasm.
